  • 158 mph in the boss’s car on an Alabama evening

    Hey! I'm trying to get back in the xanga habit. Not as easy as the first time, but... well, I'm trying. 8-}

    I was looking for a good picture of my favourite formerly-owned car, my 72 Javelin, and came across this article. The first 2 pics are the closest I've found to the colour I had. Only mine was gun-metal all over... no blue hood and spoiler. Coincidentally, my house-mate at the time bought a yellow one the same week. We never planned it, but it was mighty cool having two Javs in the driveway. Mine was, by far, the cooler one, of course. 8-] Ah, what I wouldn't give to have one of those again.

  • Good morning friend! :wave: It's great to hear from you again. Woo~ Hoo She's back. :sunny:  I would sing the welcome back kotter song but I don't sing well, not even in type. I will post some pics later today or tomorrow. Have one last un anticipated annoying spot and it is of course right over the sink. The very hardest place to paint anyway. :-/ It has however sascated me for the color red. I absolutely love it being red. Now to find the right things to accent it but not overwhelm it. SO............... How have you been friend. Really? We are coming to Florida again next spring. Our Son's attend Abeka Academy via DVD correspondence and our oldest will graduate next spring. we are going to take them to Floriday for a vacation and graduation.

  • You are sooooo missed! I pray for you all the time.

    Javelins were alright. AMC was underated and the Jav was their answer to the Plymouth Barracuda.

    And 20 years later, Chrysler buys AMC. Ten years after that Mercedes-Benz buys Chrysler.

    *sigh* It's not my world anymore. :lookaround:

  • Very classy. and welcome back.

  • We hope to have time to vacation while we are in Florida. All depends on the price of things by then. We are hoping to have a week for fun.
